Our Team

Andrea Glick, the consulting chef has a wide range of experience in the culinary industry.  She is currently a culinary professor at the Suffolk Community College Culinary Arts Program in Riverhead.  She worked under Chef Eric Ripert at Le Bernardin, the #1 Zagat rated restaurant in New York City, for 6 years.  She is also the former president of the Eastern Long Island Chapter of the American Culinary Federation.


Dennis O’Leary is the General Manager and a CPA who has worked in the media industry for over 17 years.  He has traded in his long commute and turned his backyard BBQ passion into a full-time endeavor.

Our Story

The Maple Tree BBQ is the home for Long Island’s most authentic BBQ.  All our meats and fish are cured and smoked on site in our wood fired smokers.  We source our meats and fish responsibly and use local ingredients as the market allows.  Our classic BBQ sides such as Mac & Cheese and Smoke Baked Beans are all made in-house fresh every day.  We offer lunch and dinner service in our newly renovated restaurant and we feature local Palmer Vineyard wines and local craft beers.  We also provide a wide range of catering services from casual backyard BBQ’s to full service weddings.
